On Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, we had another exciting round of the Men’s Stableford competition. A lot of the field scoring well and from what I hear ,some putting on the hand brake on the back nine. Here’s a breakdown of the winners and other notable prize categories from the day.

84 in the field today, which was a good turnout despite the pending weather. For the first time in a while, the afternoon players had the better conditions and scoring. Well done to those who broke their handicap and Dave Williams for an eagle on 1st from long range. Please remember the booking sheet is now open for the Christmas party and slots are going quick. Get in quick to avoid disappointment.

Division 1 brought in some standout scoring, with Ryan Modini (9) leading the way with a superb 42 points to claim top honours. Close behind, Nigel Luxton (15) posted an excellent 40 points, securing the runner-up voucher.

🌞 Saturday Stableford Wrap-Up

A great day out on the course with some excellent scoring across the field. Conditions were friendly, and plenty of golfers took full advantage! Here’s your full rundown of the day’s highlights.

Les Browning put together a superb round, posting 38 points (17) to claim the top spot and a well-earned prize. Close behind was David Von Itzstein with 36 points (9), securing the runner-up award after another consistent performance.

Its not the match committee or any of Barry’s staff responsibility to know who you play with or your partners When booking in for these team events, just be aware of how the computer system works. To avoid any confusion, make sure of your tee slot time and the order of players are correct if you booking in multiple people or simply ask Tim, Russ or Barry before you pay on the day.

The Mens Keno qualifier is done and dusted for another year. 26 teams contested the Keno 2man Ambrose event today on a beautifuly prepare course thanks to Brendon and his team. Ive never seen the course and greens looking so amazing. Full credit to the green staff for all the effort you put in brining the course back to its very best. Congratulations to all the winners. In the next few days the Qualifiers will be advised. Once all results from the Ladies and mixed teams play their rounds.

Winner: Wayne Muir & Garry Dowding (5.5) with a nett score of 59.5.

Runner up: Liam Henzell & Ed Brierley (10) with a Nett score of 61.75.
